Deluxe Jumbo 11" Wood Frog Guiro Rasp

The Deluxe Jumbo 11" Natural Wood Frog Guiro by World Percussion USA is way bigger than the little wood frogs that fit in a child's hand for playing. A standard basketball is about 10" in diameter, and at 11" our Jumbo frog is larger than that! This frog is substantial, has a deep tone, and is a beautifully crafted. The Super-Jumbo 11"x11" size creates a deep ribbit-like, croaking frog sound when played correctly. It is produces a deep pitch as a wood tone block. INSTRUCTIONS: Use the wood stick (included) to gently rake up the frogs back to create a lower-pitch cricket chirp. Or lightly tap the nose of the frog with a thick end of the striker to get a deep resonating note as a wood tone block. Store the striker in the frog's mouth. NOTE: This 11" size frog guiro is large enough to be safe for younger percussionists and strong enough to hold up to rough handling.
