Product Overview
Each didgeridoo is made from a single, solid piece of hardwood (Teak) that has been bored, sanded, stained, polished, and finished with a hand-dipped beeswax mouthpiece - all by hand. These are not cut in half, cleaned, then glued back together like some cheaper didgeridoos. And they are not bamboo, which cracks very easily in drier climates. ------ The hand stained Cedar-wood finish adds value to the instrument, and will be similar to the medium light brownish-red stain shown in the photos. --- The 50-52" length gives decent back pressure for easier droning and circular breathing. The mouthpiece end is 1.25-2" wide, which tapers into a 3.5-6" bell end, which also contributes to the back pressure and increases the volume of the didge. --- At a weight of 5-8 pounds this didge is portable and durable. --- While you can spend more money on a didgeridoo built for professional musicians, our Solid Hardwood Didgeridoo is a great value, built and priced as an intermediate level instrument. With this purchase you are getting a good quality wood didge that has an authentic sound, plays well, and will last you for many years to come, plus a free Dark Beeswax Mouthpiece Kit. NOTE: If any concerns are encountered regarding the inside of the didge or the mouthpiece please contact us directly. We are happy to help! --- We're proud to support the non-profit work of Africa Heartwood Project by contributing a portion of the sale of this didgeridoo to covering all administrative overhead, allowing 100% of donations to go directly to supporting orphans and providing clean water to villages in Liberia.--- Made exclusively for and imported by World Percussion USA - any other sellers on this product page are in violation of marketplace seller policies. ---
